The EcoTorque-Fan Motor Series is available in six models, offering versatile solutions for various industrial applications. The motors come in three different sizes—260-25, 260-50, and 260-75—each available in both LowSpeed (LS) and HighSpeed (HS) versions.

Fan Motor 260-25

The EcoTorque-Fan 260-25 provides a rated mechanical power of 628 W (LS) and 4021 W (HS) with torque values of 40 Nm @ 150 rpm (LS) and 32 Nm @ 1200 rpm (HS).

PMSM Fan Motor 260-50

The EcoTorque-Fan 260-50 motor delivers 1052 W (LS) and 5472 W (HS) with torque values of 67 Nm @ 150 rpm (LS) and 55 Nm @ 950 rpm (HS).

Fan Motor 260-75

The EcoTorque-Fan 260-75 motor has a rated mechanical power of 1037 W (LS) and 5890 W (HS), offering 90 Nm @ 110 rpm (LS) and 75 Nm @ 750 rpm (HS).

What is ec motor technology?

An Electronically Commutated (EC) motor is a brushless motor where the commutation of the motor phases is done by means of external power electronics. Our Direct Drive EC motor is based upon Permanent Magnet AC Synchronous Motor technology.

This technology is very suitable for high torque in a relatively compact volume. Utilizing a direct drive concept it eliminates the need for external gear boxes or belt/pulley configurations.

The ability to lower power bills is one of the reasons that the demand for EC Fan Motors is increasing. Our EC motor reduces energy consumption significantly compared to AC motors as it has a efficiency of up to 94%. It meets IEC5 energy efficiency class.

The LowSpeed (LS) EcoTorque-Fan models—260-25 LS, 260-50 LS, and 260-75 LS—are ideal for applications that require reliable, consistent low-speed operation with high torque. These motors offer torque constants ranging from 8.7 to 21.6 Nm/Arms and provide rated speeds of 150 rpm or 110 rpm, depending on the model. They are highly durable and suitable for harsh environments.

For high-speed applications, the HighSpeed (HS) EcoTorque-Fan Models—260-25 HS, 260-50 HS, and 260-75 HS—deliver impressive performance. With rated speeds of 1200 rpm, 950 rpm, and 750 rpm, respectively, these motors offer torque constants from 5.0 to 7.1 Nm/Arms and rated mechanical power ranging from 4021 W to 5890 W. They are ideal for situations requiring high-speed operation without sacrificing efficiency.

An Electronically Commutated (EC) motor is a brushless motor where the commutation of the motor phases is done by means of external power electronics.

EC motor reduces energy consumption significantly compared to AC motors as it has an efficiency of 94%. It meets IEC5 energy efficiency class. Next to the low energy cost, the EC motor also has a long lifespan.

The torque and speed of the motor are controlled externally by external power electronics. The motor runs on a DC voltage. It is easily controllable by means of a direct connection with a three-phase motor drive.
